Tasting Notes: An exclusive Saperavi profile with ripe sour cherry and pomegranate notes, vibrant acidity, and firm tannins.
POINTS OF DISTINCTION
This vintage is entirely handmade from Saperavi grapes the family planted 25 years ago.
It follows millennia-old Kakhetian methodology, after which stems, seeds, and skins are included in the pomace. After the harvest in late September, it was naturally fermented and matured in a handmade Qvevri for months.
This small, family-owned Zurab Kviriashvili Vineyard was established next to Alauani River in mountainous Tevali, Kakheti province in East Georgia, in 2002.
